Level 2 Award Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation (RQF)
Providing learners with the knowledge and skills to administer CPR and safely use an Automated External Defibrillator in an emergency.
Who should attend?
The QA Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills needed to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an AED safely in emergency situations.
Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator. This is an Ofqual regulated course. Certificates are valid for 1 year.

What we cover on this First Aid course
Basic life support
Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator
Procedures for when Emergency Services arrive
Basic AED maintenance
No previous First Aid knowledge is required to attend this course. Learners should be able to complete the physical activity of administering CPR. Due to the course content learners should be able to deal with stressful situations. If this course is delivered in-house the organisation are responsible for assessing the suitability of learners to carry out this role in the workplace.
Assessment will be via a multiple choice question paper and observations carried out by the course trainer.
