Level 2 Award in Forestry First Aid +F (RQF)
Who should attend?
The QA Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid +F (RQF) qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.
Successful learners will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills needed to treat a range of injuries and diseases that could occur in these environments, such as Lyme disease and catastrophic bleeding. Designed to accompany a regulated First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, this nationally recognised qualification has been specifically developed to meet the recommendations of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy. Certificates are valid for 3 years.

Treatment of Adder snake bites
Catastrophic bleeding, including:
No previous First Aid knowledge is required to attend this course. Due to the course content learners should be able to deal with stressful situations. If this course is delivered in-house the organisation are responsible for assessing the suitability of learners to carry out this role.
Assessment will be practical via observations carried out by the course trainer and a written multiple choice assessment paper.
